Always loved – Forever in our hearts
It is with great sadness that the family of Chris Troche announce his sudden passing on November 21, 2022 at his home in Victoria, BC at age 38.
Chris grew up in Winnipeg but spent his early years in the Chicago and Ottawa areas. After returning to Winnipeg he attended Shamrock Middle School and JH Bruns High School where he played guitar and stand up bass in the jazz band.
Chris loved fishing summer and winter and was a huge Blue Bomber fan. He was a talented auto body technician and spent many years working in that trade in Winnipeg.
Upon the birth of his son Orion in 2012 he experienced the joy of fatherhood with Orion and his sister Caidence whom he showered with much love.
In 2012 Chris received Jesus as his Lord and Savior and in 2018 was baptized in the Winnipeg River.
Chris will always will be remembered for his willingness to help others and for his impish smile.
His life can perhaps be best summed up by the words in verses from a song by one of his favourite bands Bone Thugs- N- Harmony:
“You know don’t nothing come easy, you gotta try real real hard
I’ve tried hard, but I guess I gotta try harder”.
Chris is survived by his mother Debbie (Florent), father Harry, step mom Janine, sister Kelly, son Orion, Caidence and their mother Amanda, step brother Jim (Leslie), step sisters Christine (Jason), Anna (Markus), aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at Southland Church, Steinbach, MB at 11:00 a.m. on
January 6, 2023 with a private interment at a later date.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Chris’ memory to Adult and Teen Challenge.
